Parish Religious Education Program: PREP
St. Madeline Parish Religious Education Program is religious instruction or formation of our parishioners from ages 3 to 17. Having the guidelines from the Catechism of the Catholic Church as its basis, the mission of the St. Madeline Parish Religious Education Program is to reinforce the knowledge of the faith and the love of God introduced to the child in the home by the parents as primary educators. PREP meets Tuesday afternoons from 4:00 to 5:30 from mid-September to mid-May. Volunteer catechists and aides are always welcome.
The Director of Religious Education is responsible for coordinating the Parish's program of religious education and formation for our parishioners from ages 3 to 17. Saint Madeline Parish's Religious Education Program follows the Religion Curriculum of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.
Our young parishioners receive their catechesis (religious instruction) from various schools, i.e., St. Madeline PREP, St. James Regional Catholic School, Catholic private schools, Home-based catechesis (Home-schoolers), etc. No matter where our young parishioners receive their religious instruction (catechesis) Saint Madeline Parish is the home in which our parishioners celebrate and receive the Sacraments.
The Parish is the Heart of the Church.
