Who’s Ready for PREP?
Deacon Tom Taylor and our dedicated Catechists are preparing for a wonderful year of faith formation. We are excited to introduce our new curriculum, Word of Life, created by the Augustine Institute. This engaging program offers age‑appropriate lessons, beautiful artwork, and a digital component that helps make each class inspiring and enriching for our students. Classes are held weekly on Tuesday evenings from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM, running from September through May.
Also new for this year is Family Catechesis. Family Catechesis is an alternative faith formation program for families who wish to make Religious Education a priority in their homes. Designed for students in Grades 1 through 7, this program invites children and parents to attend classes together once a month, sharing in the experience of learning about our Catholic faith. Classes are held on Tuesday evenings from 6:15 PM to 7:30 PM, running from September through May.
To Register, visit the PREP page. If you have questions regarding either program, contact Deacon Tom Taylor at the Rectory during regular business hours.
God, source of all freedom, this day is bright with the memory of those who declared that life and liberty are your gift to every human being. Help us to continue a good work begun long ago. Make our vision clear and our will strong: that only in human solidarity will we find liberty, and justice only in the honor that belongs to every life on earth. Turn our hearts toward the family of nations: to understand the ways of others, to offer friendship, and to find safety only in the common good of all. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
